Acid Reflux - The Deal With Changes In Diet And Lifestyle
In my previous article, we examined the drugs that could be taken to treat acid reflux. Here, we examine food and other considerations to prevent recurrence.
It seems that one of the main culprits in causing acid reflux is alcohol. There is good news for drinkers among us. Courage, however, it is likely that excessive consumption is the culprit - the perceived wisdom is that a few glasses of wine with dinner will not hurt, but there is an argument about whether white or red is best. Personally, I think the more acidic white wine and therefore, I assumed it would be more likely to cause acid reflux. However, because alcohol prevents the esophageal sphincter properly and allows stomach acid to reflux into the esophagus, the acidity of the alcohol may be relevant. Although when the alcohol limit quantities and minds diluted with water or with a mixer. The wine can also be diluted with water or lemonade. Soft drinks like champagne and beer should be avoided if possible.

"Fatty" includes a high-fat milk and other dairy products (cheese, cream, butter, margarine). The tomatoes can aggravate the condition of some people, such as spices such as chili can (powdered, fresh or dried), and all its derivatives, such as Tabasco. Condiments such as Worcestershire and soy sauces and horseradish or mustard should not be treated with caution.
Now the good news - you can eat some, freedom of vegetables (no tomatoes), chicken and turkey (without skin), fish, apples, peaches, melons, pears and berries. You can eat in moderation, fat-free milk or low-fat, low fat spreads and cheese. Oh, and you can drink the water until the float
