Is labeled as whole cocoa beans, cocoa feathers (ground beans) and raw cocoa powder (cocoa bean powder) Most people love chocolate, but I have never tried raw food Chocolate comes from cocoa beans. People worldwide have treasured the cocoa beans for centuries - in ancient cultures was used as currency. Today can be found in raw food section of your local health food store. It is labeled as whole cocoa beans, cocoa feathers (ground beans) and raw cocoa powder (cocoa bean powder). And dairy products and sugar from the road, you can enjoy raw chocolate without guilt for many reasons. First, the magnesium in chocolate first supports his heart. Magnesium helps to decrease blood clotting, helping to reduce blood pressure and help the heart to beat effectively. Secondly it helps keep you young.
Cocoa beans contain high amounts of antioxidants to a level comparable to green tea and red wine. Antioxidants work to neutralize free radicals, the main responsible of the aging process. Thirdly, it helps to focus. Cocoa beans may contain up to 2.2% phenylethylamine (PEA). PEA increases the activity of neurotransmitters in the brain, it helps you stay focused, alert and enthusiastic - like when you read a very good book (or in this newsletter:)). Fourth, it creates happiness (yes, everyone knows that this is a fan of chocolate). Cocoa beans contain anandamide. Anandamide is called "happy chemical", because it is released when you feel well. And finally, clear and simple: the first chocolate makes you happy. Chocolate raw is a great source of serotonin, dopamine and phenylethylamine, three neurotransmitters that alleviate depression and promote feelings of well-being. Chocolate is the healthiest when it is dark and less refined sugars added dairy products.
Raw cocoa beans have no added sugar or milk if they are clearly the best option. So How do you eat these precious grains? Thus, the beans can be a little bitter about raw chocolate beginners. It is best to combine it with something sweet grapes, as well. One idea is a great track snack mix with raisins, cocoa beans (ground whole bean), and your choice of nuts. Or make a chocolate milkshake, throwing in a blender with milk, soy milk, almond milk or yogurt and sweetener of choice. An ounce of chocolate that serve 1.4 has much caffeine as a cup of decaf, so no need to worry about the caffeine. But be careful, I once overdosed on some raw chocolate candy and went to three in the morning. For starters, my favorite raw chocolate recipe is a healthy version of my coveted "unhealthy" treat, peanut butter cups. Enjoy. I know I do.
